I loved that last little shove of power you get in the last 1k or so RPM before redline. And then you could drive it like a Corolla or something with no boost at all. My dad is seriously considering buying a ‘vert version now (we had a rental for a weekend). I actually didn’t mind the auto in it either. Shifts could have been quicker, but they were quick enough for me.

Oh don’t even get me started on Michigan. More flat and straight than I can possibly describe, it’s just painful. You realize why there are a bunch of unusable over powered straight line cars everywhere....

I have to go for certain on and off ramp routes unless I want to make a real hike to anything halfway decent.
